What was the highlight of Hotel Wish Foz do Iguaçu
Wonderful Stay at Wish
We had a fantastic stay at Wish! The hotel is a beautiful property surrounded by lush greenery and a scenic golf course. Its location is ideal — perfectly situated between Foz do Iguaçu and the waterfalls, making it a great base to explore the area. The breakfast was truly amazing with plenty of fresh and delicious options. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the option of buffet lunch and dinner, with a good variety of dishes and overall good quality. Excellent value for money — highly recommended!
A few small downsides: our room was adapted for guests with disabilities, so the shower was at floor level, which caused water to spread around the bathroom. Also, the electricity meter in the room made a noticeable noise. Finally, the hotel is a bit isolated, so going out for dinner elsewhere requires a car or taxi ride.

Excellent stay! Would highly recommend.
Gorgeous resort, close to airport, close to access the waterfalls, around 15 mins from centre. Uber always available to go to centre for dinner - around £2/3. The breakfast here is outstanding. They also accommodated a breakfast box when we needed to check out at 3am which was very appreciated. Pool area big and clean, jacuzzis warm, good gym equipment and friendly staff. We didn’t do the half board and found it cheaper to eat from the menu of the pool bar and lobby bar instead as we are not a great lover of buffet food so prefer to pick from a menu ourselves. Clear breakdown for trips cost. I think a little more than from in town, but it was a private car and we could run on our own times! Overall, outstanding.
Mini bar in room is a little pricey but not too bad by European standards. Would be good to have a coffee machine in the room!

What was the highlight of Hotel Wish Foz do Iguaçu
Beautiful, unique and peaceful resort near Cataratas, Parque das Aves, Argentina and airport.
Facilities were good, staff was friendly and breakfast had plenty of options. We could also tell that the coffee beans were of good quality.
The blackout curtains in our rooms were visibly old, in a poor condition and they were smaller than the rail. Pillow options could be improved as none of them offered enough neck and shoulder support. Suggestions: to offer shower gel in the shower area as there's only shampoo and conditioner (soap bar is available though). Similar hotels in other countries offer a complimentary bottle of water per person per day which would be a nice added to touch if added to the rooms.
